It’s fascinating to observe that, only a few years ago, it was considered unthinkable that trading on the cloud would become the new norm. Today, all three of the main cloud providers are not only attending the event, but are also major sponsors, which shows
how integral they have become to the industry.
All the main cloud providers have invested billions in AI and are obviously keen to share opportunities for the modernisation of the financial industry. Capital markets firms can leverage AI-powered abilities for data analytics, process optimisation and
targeted customer service.
For me, this year’s focus is on no less than the fundamental change of infrastructure in our industry.
This means the tipping point is here and now, so it’s crucial we keep tabs on this revolutionary debate as things are advancing at a breakneck pace.
